after some thought we decided it would solve more problems (and also be pretty cool) to have a bridge across the river which Charon guards. The story we have devised is that the traditional boat has been replaced with a more modern way of crossing. the old docks and boat can be seen wrecked on the shore of the river.

I wanted it to be an imposing and terrifying experiance to cross over the waterfalls and I fell this bridge represents that feeling. I based the designs on drawbridges from castles.
