Update

Pitched my project today and got some interesting feedback suggesting that I take the project away from a literal interpretation of the text and pursue a more unique approach, while still keeping to the essence of the text. I guess the pitch went well because I now have two new people in on board, Bill and John.

Map

Map based on the descriptions from the Aeneid.
In the midst, there spreads out its branches, its arms full of years,
A vast shadowy elm, where throng, so they say,
Unmeaning Dream, and cling beneath every leaf.

Here is the land great Cerberus makes to resound,
Three throats all barking at once, as he crouches there,
A creature monstrous in size, in a cavern before them.

Quick coloured sketch. will try other colours

Second version

Fiddled with it a bit, think this looks more correct.
